Delivery & Courier Info

New Zealand Deliveries

Delivery Options:

  • Orders are dispatched each Monday (excluding public holidays). Where Monday falls on a public holiday, orders will be dispatched on the following Tuesday.

  • Once dispatched, most North Island deliveries are overnight, while South Island and rural deliveries may take 2–3 working days.

Important Notes:

  • Due to increasing fuel and freight costs, orders are generally dispatched once per week on Mondays (or Tuesdays following a Monday public holiday).

    • Orders with a total value exceeding $200 may be eligible for next working day dispatch if placed by 2pm on the preceding working day. Customers requiring urgent dispatch should include the note "For urgent dispatch please" with their order. We will do our best to accommodate these requests; however, next working day dispatch cannot be guaranteed and remains at our discretion.

  • Once items are dispatched, delays are beyond our control. Contact us if issues arise — we will follow up with the courier.
  • Dispatches and courier deliveries occur weekdays only (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays).
  • Rural deliveries may take an extra day or two and are subject to a surcharge.

Tracking:

  • A tracking link is generated once processing begins but becomes active when scanned by the courier.
  • Contact us at info@temptingtreats.co.nz for updates if needed.

Business Customers:

  • For invoices or quotes, email us with your order details.
  • Full payment is required no later than the day before courier dispatch.
  • Cancellations may incur charges for products already sourced or prepared.

International Shipping

  • Generally, we do not offer international shipping.
  • If you are outside New Zealand, email us for a shipping quote.
  • Recipients are responsible for duties and taxes upon arrival.

General Notes for All Orders

  • Ensure the correct delivery option is selected. Incorrect selections (e.g., rural vs standard) may delay delivery until the difference is paid.
  • Rural delivery orders placed without the rural option will be delayed and we will contact you for payment.
  • Deliveries are non-signature by default due to the perishable nature of products. Signature service may be arranged for an extra charge - email us after placing your order if you would like to add this.
  • Delivery instructions can be added in the “Delivery Instructions” box at checkout. Missed instructions can be emailed to us.
  • Courier charges may vary depending on weight and destination.
  • Saturday courier deliveries are not currently available due to our weekly dispatch schedule.

Restrictions:

  • No delivery to Hauraki Gulf Islands, Stewart Island, Chatham Islands, or overseas (unless quoted) - email us to see if your area qualifies for deliveries in these areas and we will see what we can do.
  • PO boxes are not serviced.

  • All delivery pricing is subject to change.
